I’m Stephen Mapp, a 33 year old husband, father of three, and proud neighbor in Hardin County.

By day, I supervise a talented team of pharmacy technicians – coordinating workflows, ensuring patient safety, and mentoring staff. Before that, I spent over a decade in IT leadership, building systems and solving problems that keep businesses and homes running smoothly. That blend of hands on healthcare, customer service leadership, and technical troubleshooting has taught me that solid solutions come from listening first, then rolling up your sleeves to get to work.

As a working parent, I know how vital a strong public education system is. Our educators deserve the tools and support to ignite young minds, and our classrooms deserve stable funding so every child – whether they’re in Hardin, Breck or surrounding counties – can thrive. I’m committed to championing policies that keep our schools well resourced, our class sizes manageable, and our students prepared for the jobs of tomorrow.

I’m also deeply grateful for the sacrifices of our veterans and the dedication of our first responders. My campaign will fight for better support and recognition of those who’ve served our country, and for the firefighters, EMTs and law enforcement officers whose quick actions protect our families every day. And because our senior citizens are the bedrock of our communities, I’ll work to expand quality elder care programs so our parents and grandparents can age in dignity right here at home. I was raised by my grandparents from a young age, so I especially can understand the importance behind our senior citizens getting the support they deserve.

At the heart of it all is community. My wife and I are raising our kids here because we believe in the warmth and strength of Kentucky. Whether it’s volunteering locally, cheering on a Little League game, or knocking on doors, I’m dedicated to listening to neighbors, sharing ideas, and building a future where everyone—young and old—has the chance to succeed. I’d be honored to earn your trust and your vote as we work together for a stronger, healthier Kentucky.
